A Storage Facility that Shines

If you want to succeed in something, your vision is everything. It is the root to one’s success, and it takes a great deal of passion to make it grow.

Bob Pfeiffer and wife, Trisha, had the necessary ingredients to make their vision bloom. As the owner of Pfeiffer Construction Inc., Bob wanted to create a storage facility in the heart of Bartow that would stand out and look different than any other storage building. “I built the facility so that the units would stay cooler in the hot Florida heat, and the look was designed so that when you drove by you wouldn’t even realize you were looking at a storage facility.”

Simply Storage has been in business since 2005 and has helped over 800 people with their storage needs. The facility is equipped with a gated entry and a security system. You do not need to fret over committing to any contracts when you store your things at Simply Storage, because all leases are month-to-month; meaning you can vacate at any point without a penalty.
Pfeiffer’s passion for not only his storage facility, but for Bartow was apparent when he spoke. “I wanted to construct not only a building, but something that helped Bartow shine.”
They have, in fact, successfully helped Bartow shine, not only with their storage facility, but with their involvement in the community as well. Bob is the assistant coach for track at Bartow High School, and through Simply Storage the Pfeiffers’ are able to sponsor soccer leagues throughout Bartow. Simply Storage has also donated storage units to various non-profit organizations many times through the years so they would have a place to store their things.

Bob is not the only one with an eye for innovation and construction, as Trisha also has a flair for design. She is the proud owner of LillyCat Design Studio, where she prepares multi-media digital work and consults companies on branding imagery and setup.

Bartow Ford has a great history with Bob and Trisha, even before Simply Storage was born. The Pfeiffer’s have bought eight vehicles over the past ten years, and say they have had a “fantastic relationship with Bartow Ford.”

“Louis Rodriguez is our salesperson, and he is just great. The process always goes smoothly, and there are never any surprises. The service department is excellent, and the café is a plus!”

2011 Ford Edge

Ford brings new meaning to the term “cutting edge” with the 2011 Edge. Among many other class exclusive technology, design, and safety advances, the 2011 model will debut MyFord Touch, a class exclusive voice activated in-car connectivity system.

MyFord Touch

MyFord Touch lets you customize and personalize your vehicle with what’s important to you. Upload your own photos for the high resolution LCD screens, build a road trip playlist with Sony HD Radio with iTunes tagging, and rock out to the 12 speaker, 390 watt sound system. No matter what level of technology you’re comfortable using, MyFord Touch has something you’ll love.

Other technological improvements on the 2011 model include:
* Media hub with USB RCA, and SD inputs
* SD Voice recognition that learns and adapts to your speech patterns
* One step address recognition for navigation
* 3D buildings on maps
* Ratings and reviews for restaurants and other travel features.

Design

The 2011 model got a makeover, and its all about the details. We love that the Edge logo is even etched into its new headlights, alongside the vertical LED lights. Inside, the center stack design was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright Fallingwater house, with a futuristic, floating look. You can even choose the color of the ambient lighting in the cabin.

The Edge is built for comfort, with a wider shift knob, larger steering wheel, and high quality “soft touch” materials. The “pass through storage” behind the center stack keeps your valuables out of sight, but is easily accessible to both the driver and passenger.

Features

The 2011 Edge blows away the competition in flexibility and versatility. The front passenger seat folds flat, as does the second row of seats, for over 8 feet of cargo space. Owners love that the second row of seats reclines electrically and has extra cup holders. The Edge fits your style whether you’re hauling lumber, your kids, or even your pets (The Edge was named Top Dog in pet safety by BarkBuckleUp.com)!

The Edge lives up to its name with the latest features including:
* Intelligent access
* Push button start
* Remote start
* Panoramic vista moonroof
* Adaptive cruise control that will let you set your desired speed or your desired distance from the vehicle in front of you with several spacing modes
* Collision warning with brake assist that will pre-charge your brakes to give you more stopping power
* Easy fuel capless fuel filler
* My Key
* Blind spot mirror
* Rain sensing windshield wipers, and more.

Smart charging helps your Edge consume less fuel without sacrificing horsepower. This system is similar to a hybrid in that it shuts off the fuel when you’re coasting or decelerating and stores the energy in the alternator to help charge your battery. The 2011 Edge also boasts a revised 3.5 L engine with twin independent variable camshaft timing, trailer sway control, hill start assist, and 6-speed paddleshift.

Safety

The newest safety features are the side curtain airbags, tire inflation sensors, and 911 Assist. While other automatic crash response systems alert operators who dial 911, MyFord Touch with 911 Assist directly dials 911 in the event of a crash. The SOS Post Crash Alert System will flash the lights and sound the horn when the airbags are deployed.
